So, you have finally decided to visit Sedona.
Few places hold such magnetic and spiritual energy to revitalize, renew, and restore. The Arizona sky is massive, ultra-mega-blue, and sunsets will astound. Now picture the magnificent red rocks against that turquoise expanse. The bold, orange-red hoodoos and formations will leave you feeling like you just had a few cups of great coffee.
Sedona, surrounded by wilderness, is an “island.” There aren’t any large cities within over 100 miles. This desert, filled with all kinds of hidden streams, vegetation, and wildlife, will delight. It is a place to unwind, get away from it all, and relax.
There is no nightlife to speak of. The town is small, with barely over 10,000 people.
So, what do you do in Sedona?
First, pack your running shoes and get out on a hike. To help you out, we have outlined a few of our favorite hikes on our blog. The slow pace of walking in the desert will unwind your mind and open your heart. You might see hummingbirds, lizards, cactus flowers, among the juniper and manzanita.
